Classic OCR only turns pixels into text — it does not know which number is VAT or which line is the customer name. Intelligent document processing adds AI models on top of OCR: it classifies the document, extracts the fields you need, matches customers and products, and routes uncertain fields to a human. The “read but wrong” risk disappears and your team handles exceptions instead of typing.
